Business Minded, Black Business Review: Neter Gold

Hey guys what's up on this great Wednesday? We are back and talking about a new black brand. I know normally when I drop one of these on a Wednesday its a #BlackWomanOwned brand but this Wednesday is different. This is a #BlackFamily owned brand that I am bringing to you guys.

Now the brand probably thought I forgot all about them because they sent me these products months ago but I didn't! As y'all know I actually USE the products that I review so it takes time for me to use them, and then assess how the product works for me. The truth is there are some brands that don't make it to the blog. Instead I tell the company the truth about the product, how it didn't work for me, and choose not to share with you guys. I want to share products that have worked well for me so that hopefully you all will not have to go through the search and find process. With all that being said lets dive into this review!!

Discovering Neter Gold

If you are faithful to the blog you know that a lot of times I find brands via Instagram or recommendations, so its not odd for me to bring you a brand I found via IG. Well Neter Gold isn't that different BUT how I found them on IG is. As you know Facebook and IG are nosey and they listen to your conversations as well as what you shop on social media. They then target the messaging you get to fit in line with the things you like, do, talk about and etc. As you can assume they are forced to show me ERRTHANG BLACK and that's how I like it!! That being said back in June of this year, I started seeing these hella corny commercials on my Ig thread and facebook. It was a bearded black man asking me if I was ashy or if I put lotion on today. It was hilarious and a few times he caught me slipping and your girl sure enough was ashy lol. Well as I kept seeing him on my feed, I got intrigued, and kept watching.

The Owners

As I stated before this is a #BlackFamilyOwned Brand and though Mike brought me in the beautiful family kept me watching, especially little man! Mike and Khrys own and run this company and are building a brand that I see growing and being limitless.

Most of the commercials are filmed in their home or backyard and they give you that "My friends feeling". They genuinely connect with the audience, corny or not when you watch these commercials I promise you will see what I am talking about.

As a new blogger and influencer you have to keep watch of all brands that you believe fit into the audience that follows you. As an influencer whose market is to push black brands I have to go to the brands a lot of times.Which is fine because my feed again is filled with melanin. Well funny enough they asked if there were any bloggers following them and if so to please reach out. Y'all know your girl I reached out and let them know what the Aunty Kelechi Brand was about and my mission. They loved it and said they would love to send me some products to try. If I liked them to please share with my audience. I was ready and said lets get it! A few weeks later a package arrived that smelled like a black woman in a box. It smelled like Africa's essence packaged and sent to me. I am telling y'all it smelled like they took the essence of the beauty of black women and sent it to me in a package! I was super excited and featured them on my mail time IG story series I do. I have been using these products since June and BABY let me tell you these things are errrthang and more. Y'all ready to see what I got? Lets dive in

Products

Raw African Black Soap

Now y'all know that this soap is lit! I want to first put this out there, I get it that black soap doesn't work for everyone. Depending on your skin it could be too harsh and I understand that. I have sensitive skin that does its own thing so I will say some black soaps are not for me. I will say that this one was not harsh and was very manageable when it came to breaking it down. It is produced in Ghana (I won't throw any shade today lol) and then they do a second test of it once it gets to them prior to shipping it to you.

As we know African Black Soap is an excellent cleanser that can be used for face, hair, and skin care. It gives you a deep cleaning. They offer two types of this soap, the Original which has Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Pod Ash, & Water or you can grab the No Shea | No Coconut which is made with Cocoa Pod Ash, Plantain Skin Ash, Palm Oil, & Water. This product is $7.99 for the 5oz and 15.99 for the 15oz. The black soap is currently sold out.

Twilight Turtle

The twilight turtle is a hair growth serum that you apply directly to the scalp. It is made with grapeseed oil, olive oil, Golden Indian castor oil, organ oil and several more natural ingredients meant to stimulate the scalp and help growth.

I use this 3 times a week and apply it directly to my scalp and then massage in. I have noticed my new growth coming in fuller and stronger than before.

They currently don't carry this oil anymore but they do have something similar in the Destiny's Foundation True Growth Hair stimulator which is made with Sunflower Oil, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Golden Indian Castor Oil and will cost you $26 for 2 oz.

Hathor

Hathor is a tone evening facial scrub. It is a gentle way to remove dead skin and leftover makeup from your beautiful skin. It helps even your skin tone while hydrating as well. It can be applied to the skin while dry or wet but I prefer to apply it wet. I then use a brush to help stimulate the skin and then rinse it off. I use this 1-2 times a week with my skin care routine.

The Ingredients include; Coconut Sugar, Sweet Almond Oil, Honey, Aloe Vera Gel, Jojoba Oil, Linden Leaves, & Tea Tree Oil all natural elements that are known to be great for the skin. This scrub cost $16 prior to shipping and tax.

Sura

Sura is their Deep penetration hair cream that is meant to help bring back agility and life to damaged hair. It also helps strengthen hair while making it softer to the touch. Its ingredients include: Aloe Butter, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Neem Oil, & Biotin all products with certified facts to help with hair growth. It is a bit thick so for me when I apply it I rub it into my hands to get it warm, I then apply it to my wet hair. I do this during the cream part of the LOC process. I will say that my hair feels softer and I have seen less breakage after adding this to the routine. This will cost you $16 prior to tax and shipping for 2oz.

Neter Gold also offers Sezzle and Afterpay as payment options as a way to get all the things you like and need and split the payments up. ooh and neither of these companies pull your credit report! So shop now and pay as you go!

Honestly any of these products that they offer would be a great addition to your routine, they also sell other things like brushes, bonnets and durags. I think you should head over to www.ntrgldshop.com right now and grab you something.

As always, take care of yourself, love on those who love you, wash your hands, wear your mask and keep fighting for justice! #SayTheirNames. Ooh and don't forget if you grab anything share with me your experience and what products you liked

Love

Aunty Kelechi
