Item of the Week: KAYAIRE Skincare
Hey beauties, I am back with a new section for the blog. As you know I love supporting Black Owned Companies, but I have an even more special place in my heart for Veteran owned companies.
In January I linked up with Ebony the owner of KAYAIRE, she told me about her skin care line that she was planning to launch soon. She asked me to review it and give my complete and honest opinion. She wasn't looking for fake promo but instead real feedback so that she could make whatever necessary changes to her products. I respect anyone that genuinely cares and isn't out to just make a quick buck. I want to be able to trust that the company whose products I am using on my skin (The most sensitive part of me)

My Review:
I received all four products back in January, I will not lie to you guys and say ooh I have this skin care routine that I stick to. I suck at taking care of my skin and that's real. I honestly try and wash my face twice a day but sometimes at night If I don't have on makeup, I fall asleep and that's it. I do wash my face faithfully every morning. I have been using her products for about 60 days now and I am here to tell you that this right here is the truth! I am not going to lie and say I haven't had any break outs since I have been using it because I have that's just not the reality of it. Yet I will say that my breakouts are extremely minimal and most of those have been hormonal.
Rejuvenating Gel Cleanser
This wash is a light weight and gentle was the was designed to refresh and cleanse the skin. It is enriched with blended vitamins, CBD, and apple extract. Apple extract is meant to decongest pores, and add to skins natural moisture.
I used this wash daily, its extremely light and easy to use. I normally wet my face first and then pump in directly on my face and then rub it in. I then use my face sponge the massage it into my face and then rinse. I like it because I don't need too much in order to get the remaining makeup off my face after I wipe it off.
Rejuvenating Exfoliating Toner
The Exfoliating toner is enriched with lavender flower, cucumber extract, and full spectrum CBD. Like the cleanser it is enriched with apple fruit stem cell which is meant to refine, and tone the skin to complete the cleansing process.
I use this even if I don't use the cleanser especially after a workout and having to head right back to work and can't do a full face routine at the gym. All I do is pump three times into a cotton ball and then cleanse my face.
Hydrating Cream Moisturizer Ok yall so this right here is CRACK!! When I tell you that this moisturizer is the truth!! I am speaking straight facts. You literally only need to dip your finger your finger in and use the residue on your face and when I say your face will thank you. I have dry patches on my face and when I use this you cannot see these patches at all.
The Hydrating moisturizer is meant to soothe irritated skin. It is enriched with Lavender, apple stem extract, and full spectrum CBD, that repairs and boost natural skin moisture and maintain skins pH.
Exfoliating Moisture Walnut Polish
The Deep ex-foliating moiustrizing walnut scrub is for sensitive irritated skin. Now we all know about that other Apricot scrub that is too harsh for most skin? Well this is the better version. This scrub has apricot rosemary leaf extract, and full spectrum CBD to soothe the skin, while the scrub nourishes and cleanses for a rejuvenated feel and maintain pH balance.
I use this about once a week to exfoliate my skin. I will say that I focus it more on my nose, chin and forehead. It is not harsh and smells AMAZING!!

Now folks, we all have to find what works for us, I do mix and match products because my skin likes to hit plateaus and then the products don't work anymore because my skin has gotten use to them. Yet I have noticed that when I mix it up this doesn't happen. I think these products are a great addition to your skincare routine. As always if you purchase let me know how it worked for you.
